Easter Egg Hunts, French Toast, and Lego.

This is what we have been up to. 

Easter egg hunts.

Jacksons first real Easter, that he could somewhat appreciate. His first basket, first time really eating chocolate, playing with bubbles, and getting more spoiled than was necessary by his Grandma's and Auntie.

Also, his new toy of choice is Lego Mega Blocks. I so thought it was too early for this, but he loves to build with them. It is the only toy that will occupy him for a full 30 mins. I'm going to get him some more, god bless legos.

Lastly, i don't have a picture, but he also had his first fever (104 degrees no less!), and was sick for two days. Tylenol helped a lot with bringing it down, and it finally broke last night and he's pretty much back to himself today.

After a food filled weekend, we need to prepare for another weekend celebration, and then of course Mothers day is coming up. Ahhhh, the never ending holiday's. My waistline is the only one complaining.

10 Day You Challenge: Four Books

I really don't read all that often, but when i do, i like a romance-y light and easy book. I read to escape, not to make my brain work too much.We have another day of Easter celebration with my family today, and a feverish little boy on our hands.Hopefully i'll have some pics from our Easter to share tomorrow. Provided i don't od on chocolate between now and then.

Things I Would Give My Left Arm For

Polaroid Camera
Will i ever have one, prolly not. Polaroid film is like liquid gold it is so expensive! I love the look of the photos though. If i gave my left arm for the camera, it may make taking photos a little harder.

Giant Clothespin
I don't know why i want it, or what i would do with it, but i've loved these since i first saw one!

Crocheted Floor Cushion
It's not likely i'll ever crochet a giant floor cushion. i crocheted a square once. I think it took six hours. 

Dyson Digital Slim

Dysons new, lightweight cordless vacuum. Probably not for the whole house, but to pull out for quick jobs, this would be a dream! My only concern, how long would the battery really last, being recharged constantly?

Toms Shoes

The principal behind them is so good (every pair bought, means one pair given to a child that needs shoes), and they're the perfect plain shoe, that you can wear with anything. These, are a slightly more attainable goal.

This one is easy! I heart food:5. Cheese Burger4. Hot Chocolate3. Popcorn2. Ice Cream1. Nachos, with real melted cheddar
Yeah, the foods i really love, aren't healthy at all. So i don't get to eat them nearly as much a i'd like.

T.V. Show Rec

If you have Netflix (this show is no longer on T.V.), i highly suggest you check out Prison Break. Two reasons;

Forewarning, it is HIGHLY addictive. Sometimes it takes a suggestion to find new shows on Netflix, the way you browse shows there, is pretty lame (at least on PS3, the browsing selection is limited, you mostly have to do a search to find shows/movies)
Anywho, back to the show. Long story short, one brother is in jail (his name is Linc), the other (Michael), gets himself put in jail, to break his brother out. Besides the unique plot, that isn't like many shows on T.V. now, the brothers aren't too hard on the eyes. Also, your husband/boyfriend will probably like it too. For once, you can be the one ogling the actors on T.V. 

10 Day You Challenge: Six Places

6. Niagara Falls, Canada- We took our honeymoon there, it has good memories. Also went as a child.5. Australia- Marcus brother lives there, and i've always wanted to go.4. Eastern Canada- Anywhere really, it's beautiful, and i've only been to the ocean as a child, i don't remember it.3. New York- It is so iconic, so many things to see and do. I'd love to go there, stay in a cheap hotel, and just soak up the city. Especially, seeing all the famous places from Sex and the City.2. Alaska- I don't kno why. Maybe the sense of adventure it conjures in my mind?1. Home- Wherever my family is. that is where i most want to be.

7. Spring to hit full force, i'm so over the chilly weather.6. Jackson to say Mama. He has said it maybe twice.5. A pair of Tom's shoes.4.To put new flooring in our bedroom and kitchen.3. Heroes to work on Netflix. Dammit!2. Chocolate Eggies.1. The new Dyson Digital Slim. I love a good vacuum.

Take a Picture of a Toddler....Pffffft!

My only advice, start on the opposite side of the room. Jackson comes running at the camera when he sees it, or even hears the lens cap come off. I try to be sneaky, but it rarely works. Maybe one day soon, with some fruit snack bribery, i can get some actual, good, on purpose shots. It is very cute though, he knows that he can look at himself on the back of the camera. He'll stand there for a second, then try and grab the camera to look at the back of it. Freaking adorable.
