Becoming a Better Parent
I shared this link on Facebook, but i wanted to share it here as well. To make sure many people get a chance to read it. I think we all need daily reminders, to be better mothers and fathers. To love our children better, have more patience, understanding, and appreciation for the gift we've been given.

Reflections of Motherhood
We asked moms if they could go back to before their first baby, what would they tell themselves. These are their answers. Everyone in the video is a mom.

36 Weeks
36 Weeks.
Weight Gain: 26 lbs (with Jackson it was about 41lbs at this point)
Cravings: Chocolate. Cake. Ice Cream. Anything Chocolate.
Still feeling pretty good. Only lower back pain and reflux to complain about, but i'm so used to it at this point it just feels normal. Baby hasn't dropped, at all. Apparently this may not happen until labour begins, since this is my second child. This makes putting on underwear, pants, shoes, picking anything up off the floor, very difficult. At least i don't have to pee every 5 seconds.
Nesting is in full swing! Jackson loves to help me clean, so it is a fun game for us. I give him a cloth and he just walks around wiping everything. This weekend i painted and cleaned the laundry room.Yesterday was cleaning windows, and reorganizing our room to prepare space for the birth. Who knows what today will bring?
It hasn't fully hit me yet, there will be a brand new baby here in a month or less. I don't know if Jackson knows what is happening, that he'll have to share his momma very soon. He knows that the crib, bassinet, and swing are for the baby. Sometimes he checks them, and asks where the baby is. he has a baby doll that laughs and cries. When the baby laughs, he smiles, when it cries he brings it to my and says "oh no! crying!" He may be catching on, but i don't think anything can really prepare a 25 month old, for having to share mommy with someone else. Someone that will take a lot of time and attention. I'm far more worried about that, than having a natural childbirth at home. But, he is a very sweet and loving boy, and i know he'll be happy to have one more person to slather in hugs and kisses.
This could be my last preggo belly post. Ever.
28 Days until i have a baby girl in my arms.
